Der Meisterkurs für Liedduos bei Hartmut Höll widmet sich dem deutschsprachigen Liedrepertoire.

Hartmut Höll ist einer der international renommiertesten Liedbegleiter und ist für sein sensibles, klanglich differenziertes Spiel bekannt. Nach seinem Studium in Stuttgart und prägenden Impulsen durch Leonard Hokanson arbeitete er u. a. mit Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Renée Fleming und Mitsuko Shirai, mit der er den Begriff Liedduo prägte. Er konzertierte weltweit und wirkte an rund sechzig vielfach ausgezeichneten CD-Produktionen mit. Als Professor in Karlsruhe, früher in Frankfurt und Köln, sowie als langjähriger Rektor der Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe prägte er Generationen von Musiker_innen. Zahlreiche Meisterklassen, Jurytätigkeiten, Publikationen, Auszeichnungen und kulturpolitische Initiativen – insbesondere im Rahmen der Hugo-Wolf-Akademie – unterstreichen seine herausragende Bedeutung für die internationale Liedkunst.

The masterclass for song duos with Hartmut Höll is dedicated to the German-language art song repertoire.

Hartmut Höll is one of the most internationally renowned piano accompanists and is known for his sensitive and nuanced playing. After studying in Stuttgart and receiving formative impulses from Leonard Hokanson, he collaborated, among others, with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Renée Fleming, and Mitsuko Shirai, with whom he marked the term song duo.
He has performed in concerts worldwide and has been involved in around sixty highly acclaimed and award-winning CD productions. As a professor in Karlsruhe, previously in Frankfurt and Cologne, as well as long-standing rector of the Karlsruhe University of Music, he has shaped generations of musicians. Numerous masterclasses, jury activities, publications, awards, and cultural-policy initiatives, particularly within the framework of the Hugo Wolf Academy, underscore his outstanding importance for the international art-song scene.
